One of Japan's three most famous waterfalls
A magnificent waterfall where the water flowing from Lake Chuzenji falls down a 97-meter-high cliff. Counted as one of Japan's top three waterfalls, you can enjoy both the magnificence and beauty created by nature. The waterfall basin seen up close from the observatory is impressive. You can see the dynamic appearance of splashing water with a roaring sound. In the early summer, it is colored with splendid fresh greenery, and in the middle of winter, the narrow small waterfalls called Junitaki freeze and the whole area is dyed with blue ice.
