Venetian glass, which captivated European aristocrats from the 15th to 19th centuries, is the pinnacle of beauty and the product of exceptional craftsmanship.
Contemporary Glass Museum
We introduce works by currently active glass artists.
These innovative works demonstrate the infinite possibilities of glass.

There is a workshop where you can experience the fusing technique, which melts and joins glass pieces, and the sandblasting technique, which carves patterns by blowing sand onto glass. Seasonal motifs are also available.
Glass experience workshop
The garden overlooking Owakudani is filled with contemporary glass artworks, crystal glass objects, and seasonal flowers.

Museum Shop
This artsy shop is set around a courtyard and features about 100,000 pieces of glassware filled with artistic flair from all over the world, including Venetian glass.
