Fukiware Falls is known as the "Niagara of the Orient."
This is a very exciting waterfall where you can feel the wildness of the water spraying out of the air amidst beautiful scenery.
On a hot summer day, bathing your entire body in the natural mist from the waterfall is very refreshing.
The famous waterfall, which changes appearance with the seasons, from fresh greenery to autumn leaves, captivates people.
Take a walk around the well-maintained walking trails and experience the nature of Tone.
After being impressed by the waterfall, we went to Oigami Onsen.
High quality hot springs will soothe your mind and body.
Caution: Please avoid entering any areas of Fukiware Falls that are off-limits.

Parking: There is a free parking lot (about 10 cars) on the right side of the traffic light just before Fukiware Ohashi Bridge. Parking is also available in front of the Tone Branch Office.
Private drive-ins close to the falls have both paid and free parking, so be sure to check before parking.

From the Numata IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, take National Route 120 towards Oze for about 25 minutes (about 16 km)
⚫︎Public transport
45 minutes by bus from JR Numata Station bound for Kamata, get off at "Fukiwarenotaki" and walk for 3 minutes (220m)
