The Kurofune Festival Fireworks Display scheduled for today, May 17th, has been postponed due to strong winds.
This has been changed to tomorrow, 5/18.
Live streaming will begin at 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 18th.
The Black Ship Festival Maritime Fireworks Display will start at 8:15 p.m.
For the first time, the 85th Kurofune Festival Maritime Fireworks Display will be filmed by drone and streamed live.
Live streaming date and time: 5/17 (Fri) 20:00 to the end (We will provide the view of Shimoda Port until the fireworks start around 20:00)
*The fireworks are scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m.(If it rains, the event will be postponed to Saturday, May 18th)
Fireworks are shot up continuously from four launch sites.
The last five minutes are a powerful ending.
In particular, the offshore starmine and the 2-shaku fireworks that will be launched for the first time in 10 years are must-sees.
Please come and enjoy the fireworks display celebrating the 170th anniversary of the opening of Shimoda Port and the Black Ship Festival.
