One of Japan's three most famous waterfalls
A magnificent waterfall where water flows out of Lake Chuzenji and falls 97 meters down a cliff. Counted as one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan, you can enjoy both the grandeur and beauty created by nature. The waterfall basin seen up close from the observation deck is very impressive. You can see the spectacular sight of the water splashing and roaring. You can enjoy the different expressions of the seasons, from the beautiful fresh greenery in early summer to the thin small waterfalls known as the Twelve Falls that freeze over in mid-winter, turning the whole area into blue ice.
