Summary: What Yonaguni Island can teach us

Yonaguni Island is a special place where, although it is in Japan, Japanese common sense does not apply.

Taiwan is 111km away. On a clear day, exotic mountain ranges can be seen beyond the horizon. It has a unique language and culture, and a history of flourishing as an independent nation. Mysterious ruins lie beneath the sea. Although it is an isolated island in the middle of the ocean, the people are warm and the nature is overwhelmingly beautiful.

What emerged from the drone aerial photography was the magnificent scale of this small island, and the harmony between people and nature.

Yonaguni Island has a unique charm that cannot be fully described by the catchphrase "Japan's westernmost point."

Be sure to visit this border island and experience the spectacular scenery that stretches out at the edge of Japan.
