Ishigaki Island's No. 1 scenic spot
Kabira Bay is a scenic spot located in the northwest of Ishigaki Island, a very large island among the many in Okinawa Prefecture. It has been selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Japan, and is a spectacular spot that you should not miss if you are traveling to Ishigaki Island.
Kabira Bay is a tourist spot that always appears in guidebooks for Ishigaki Island, and is famous for being a place where black pearls are cultivated, but the best thing about Kabira Bay is the beautiful emerald green waters and the sea dotted with lush islands. The beauty of the bay is even more striking when viewed from a little distance than up close.
Kabira Bay on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture is the only bay in Okinawa to receive three stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan, and is renowned for its beauty.
