This beach, which lies on the border between the national parks of Irozaki and Nakagi, boasts exceptional transparency. Due to its unique geographical environment, which can only be reached by boat, it is a place where nature has remained untouched. This beach is covered with steep cliffs at the tip of the peninsula, the surrounding area is a national park and has not been developed, there are no rivers nearby, and it is the southernmost coast of the Izu Peninsula and is a passageway for the Kuroshio Current, so the combination of various factors makes it the most beautiful swimming beach in the Izu region. The water is beautiful. The rich Kuroshio Current attracts seasonal and large migratory fish from tropical countries, making it a great spot for snorkeling. There are also colonies of precious branching corals, and there has been talk of this being a rare marine national park on the Pacific coast.
In particular, in terms of popularity among snorkelers in September, I think this field is the most popular in the Kanto region or Honshu, and in fact, I think this is the number one spot.
